According to the Greek General Confederation of Labour (GSEE), dealing with the COVID-19 it's an unprecedented situation, which resulted in exceptional emergency measures which particularly affects the labour market, and therefore the working conditions. For this reason, GSEE through its structures and network, will provide prompt information on their website, instructions and clarifications on the new measures and policies for dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
GSEE creates the 'ANTI-COVID-19' Employee Information and Support Group. The Group runs a special web page dedicated to the pandemic through which the workers (through a platform):
GSEE also calls on workers to be individually and collectively vigilant in managing the consequences of the emergency situation, receive the immediate information and to resort to the help of the trade unions in order to tackle their problems at work and face any employers' arbitrariness during the crisis. Support is aimed at all employees throughout Greece, without restrictions. Anyone independently of union membership can use the website and the supporting structures of GSEE to:
The "Anti-COVID-19" Information initiative was quite succesful and an important number of workers either visited the web sites of GSEE and its supporting organisations (KEPEA, INE/GSEE, EEKE) or turned to the platform for information and help.

The measure was absolutely an initiative of Trade union. GSEE designed, implemented, founded and made the monitoring of this initiative.
The trade unions supported the measure. The employers organizations did not react.
