The objective of this policy is to repair the unfavorable consequences that the crisis generated by COVID-19, is causing the attention given to the people with disabilities, mentally ill and people in vulnerable situations or social exclusion, to link it with the need for Third Sector Entities to continue carrying out their ordinary actions for the benefit of said groups, since most organizations in this sector have been affected, to the point that they have had to reschedule their activity to attend to social emergencies caused by this crisis.
This policy consists of subsidies to entities of the Third Sector of Social Action, of a social nature or disability to compensate the expenses incurred as a result of the health crisis of COVID-19.
Can benefit from these grants those organizations of the Third Sector of Social Action defined in article 2 of Law 43/2015, of October 9;
Entities may only be beneficiaries in one of the two lines.
A total of €20 million are contemplated for the two lines; €13 million for the first line, and €7 million for the second.
