Green transition means a growing need for knowledge and skills to behave in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. The free course teaches practical basic green skills that are useful on both individual as well as organisational level. The course is offered by Tallinn University of Technology Open University and organised in collaboration with Unemployment Insurance Fund.
The course is free for anyone to attend and there is no specific target group. It is in the form of web seminars and includes five topics:
Participants can attend all seminars or only the ones they are interested in. The seminars are conducted by TalTech (Tallinn University of Technology) lecturers and guest speakers-practitioners. The seminar series is funded by the European Social Fund of the European Union as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Exact budget is not available in public sources.

Governments across the EU continue to implement policies to support citizens and businesses in the face of rising food and energy prices caused by the COVID-19 crisis and intensified by the war in Ukraine. This article summarises the policy responses as reported in Eurofound's EU PolicyWatch database from January to September 2022.
