In 2021, the Danish government agreed to allocate DKK 100 million (€13.44 million) for the green transition. The funds are being disbursed for the purpose of including vocational education and training in the green transition and climate ambitions. The political parties agreed to allocate funds to ensure the climate adaptation for 2022 in a long-term policy which will last until 2025. On the 10. September 2024 it was decided and approved that a further DKK 217 million (€29.10 million) would be added to the pool for green continuing education and learning for the year 2025
