Background information

On 1 May 2024, a new service was launched by CzechTrade and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, “Support for Economic Migration”. The main objective of the new service is to help Czech companies secure qualified foreign workers and thus strengthen the competitiveness of the Czech economy. The service is provided in countries targeted by the government’s Qualified Employee Programme.

Content of measure

The main purpose of the service is to find a suitable and reliable partner for Czech companies in the form of a personnel agency or consulting company that will be able to select qualified workers in the given territory according to the specified criteria (workers in the CZ-ISCO category 4–8, e.g. drivers, welders, electricians and electromechanics, assembly workers, etc.) and provide recruitment services. The service can be used to find new employees only in countries targeted by the government's Qualified Employee Program: Philippines, Serbia, Montenegro, India, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia and Ukraine. CzechTrade also has foreign offices in all of the aforementioned countries
